Cop Dresses As Easter Bunny To Catch Motorists

Cops have been known to find good hiding places to catch motorists violating vehicle and traffic laws. However, officers in Glendale, California, came up with a really bizarre ticket trap.

One officer wore an Easter bunny costume and then proceeded to enter a crosswalk. Any motorist who didn’t yield the right away to the bunny were then stopped by another officer and issued a traffic ticket for failure to yield the right of way to pedestrians.

In New York, failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian is a 3-point ticket. They are commonly issued in New York City but fortunately I have yet to see a police office set up such an elaborate (or bizarre) trap to catch motorists.
