On February 5, 2009, a motorist in Boynton Beach, Florida was issued more than fifty traffic citations in one day. The motorist, who had an impressive criminal background fled from police trying to stop him for just one traffic violation.
Instead, he allegedly committed many more moving violations and ended up with receiving over 50 traffic tickets including reckless driving, speeding, and disobeying red lights. To make matters worse, he had a suspended license and wasn’t even wearing his seat belt. The driver, Alonzo Elvis Barrett, also crashed into another car and a fence, and he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and a crack pipe.
Author’s Note: Our firm will handle such severe cases in the unlikely event you know someone who drives like this gentlemen. The biggest set of tickets that I have seen in practicing law for over 20 years is 16 New York traffic tickets.
