A 21-year old driver from Wallkill, New York was issued a New York speeding ticket for going 137 mph as well as reckless driving and illegally-tinted windows (i.e., too dark).
While this is news-worthy, this is not our firm’s personal record. We successfully defended a motorist charged with going 140 mph on the Lido Parkway in Nassau County last year, and actually got a 200 mph ticket dismissed but that one was actually not 200 mph. I’ll leave the explanation for the 200 mph case for my next post to pique your interest. By the way, the Bar requires that I point out that our prior results do not guarantee success.
